Fruit matters.

“A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This matter has been on my heart for over a week now and I feel like now is the time to share.

Fruit is an indicator that we are either walking with You, or not. I often hear people say things like, “God knows my heart”, yet they’re living in habitual sin. Your Word makes it very clear that a good tree cannot produce bad fruit…it just can’t.

Another thing I’ve observed is that some people are gifted in the things of God, but lack the fruit of God. Listen, one of the primary ways to know if God is in a person is the consistent fruit of the Holy Spirit in their life.

Lord, help us to produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
